Meet our new VITAL BABE: Kelsey-Marie

Hey E-preneur! Soo if you keep up with my ecommerce shop, VITAL XII, then you should notice that there has been more interaction on my social accounts and way more newsletters than normal! Want to know why? I hired my BFF Kelsey-Marie to be the Creative/Marketing Director for VITAL XII. I’m overwhelmeedddddddd and I needed help so who else better to do it then my bestie? Yes I know you’re not supposed to mix business with friends but Kelsey is different. When I started VITAL XII back in September of 2015 Kelsey knew every single thing about VITAL XII she helped me make decisions and even started off helping me out with social media for a few. Kelsey has literally been my diary throughout the process so she knows just as much about VITAL XII as me and she knows my vision for VITAL XII so it makes it superrrr easy!

I mentioned to Kelsey that I’m going to need more help now that I have more clients with my Management company, On Twelve Management & Consulting, so I can’t focus on VITAL XII as much as I need and want to. I found that my hardest struggle at the moment with VITAL XII was my social media and creation of content. When I told Kelsey what I needed she was eager to jump on board to help out so now we have our official Creative/Marketing Director, Kelsey!

So far, Kelsey has been coming up with content to post for VITAL XII including blog post, social media, and newsletter campaigns. I never thought I would come to the day where I didn’t have to tell someone exactly how I wanted these things done but now we are here and I’m so excited (sorry, don’t mind me but this really was a struggle LOL).

Thinking about hiring? Trust me when I say this, DO IT! Of course you may not have the funds to do so right now so there are always alternative options such as hiring an unpaid intern or outsourcing your task with virtual assistants.

Just because you are not paying your intern or just because you are using low-cost virtual assistants doesn’t mean that you are any less than someone who uses an employee it just means you are utilizing all resources! Interns are GREAT and NO they are not working for FREE they are working for experience! Because if you are out of college like me and have applied for many applications previously then you yourself should know that everyone wants freaking EXPERIENCE so don’t feel bad for not paying them in cash, you’re paying them with experience 😊
