Soft Launch: Girls Night In Tour

Hey E-preneur! I know I’ve been away for a while but I’ve been super busy building my online store. Although I have an online store I have been doing a lot of things offline to try and bring awareness to the company and bring in other sources of income. I’ve partnered with one of my good friends over at Love, Grace and we have this super cute idea in place. So, a couple of months ago Indya and I did a pop up shop event called Girls Night In at Femme Fatale in Washington, DC. It was such a success that we came up with the idea to take the “Girls Night In” event on tour. Indya sells an amazing line of parfum natural oils and other essential items, I of course sell luxury affordable vegan friendly handbags, and we also had henna tattoos and some cute girly foods/drinks, and watched girly movies.

We decided to do a soft launch of the actual "Girls Night In" tour before we actually get on the road. Our first stop was Charlotte, NC. The event was held at Nue Beaute Bar in Uptown Charlotte on 10/14. Before the event we had an amazing opportunity to do a news segment at WBTV and promote our event. Our good friend from high school Ebony is the producer on the news station so she was interested on doing a segment for our event. Indya and I were interviewed by Kristi O'Connor and she was very excited to share our event to everyone.

After our exciting news segment, of course we had to prepare for the event and get all the essentials needed. We served a light brunch including French toast, macarons, fruits, mimosas, and fresh mint & lavender water. Indya and I were the only vendors at our event since it was just a soft launch however Nue Beaute still offered their lovely facials and spa services.

The event turned out to be a total success and we cannot wait to offer everyone these amazing pop up shops in their cities. Some cities we will be coming to in the near future include: Miami, NYC, LA, DC… and a few more, stay tuned!
